Himgiri Nabh Vishwavidyalaya
Himgiri Nabh Vishwavidyalaya, which
is now known as Himgiri Zee University was established to cater to the
indefinite and unending demands for human resources who are trained and skilled
in a plethora of fields including social, educational, research, technical etc
to use science, technology, arts for the sustainable development of the
society.
A dedicated and renowned set of
sociologists, economists, developers, communication professionals and
anthropologists set up TALEEM Research Foundation in Ahmadabad which was one of
the authorizations which was responsible for setting up the Himgiri Zee
University. The motto which they follow is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (World
as Family)". They work consistently and efficiently to produce students
who can face the challenges of the World.
The University takes care of the all
round holistic development of the students. They make an effort to imbibe
education of an international level for higher education for the students of
India. They aim at providing education without any discrimination in terms of
castes, creed, residence, community, gender and religion. The HZU was
established under the Act No. 17 of 2003 of the State Legislative Assembly,
Government of Uttaranchal (Act 2003, Uttaranchal Adhiniyam Sankhya 17 of 2003).
Both regular and distance learning
courses are offered by the University both being at par with each other and
guaranteeing A-grade education for the students enrolled in the
Vishwavidyalaya. They cater to several other needs of the students which are
