Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University is an outstanding university of Rajasthan. It has the distinction of being India's first private public women's university. It was established by the state legislature of Rajasthan through the Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University Act 2008 (Act No. 17 of 2008).
