Located in the Holy place of
Haridwar in Uttarakhand, the University of Patanjali is one of the largest
Universities for Yoga in India. It is named after the Ancient Yoga Guru
Patanjali. Baba RamDev is the Chief Person In charge of the Institute. The main
objective behind the establishment of The University of Patanjali, Haridwar is
the treatment, research and development in Yoga and Ayurveda.
The University of Patanjali,
Haridwar also focuses on medicine manufacture which is considered to be one of
the reasons behind the set up of the University. The University was set up with
a goal to inquire and set up a rigorous and thorough base for the knowledge
which has always been there in the ancient Indian Sages. It also wanted to
provide education which would be knowledge as well as employment minded to the
youths, so that they realize the worth of knowledge and power and preserve the
age old Ayurveda, Herbal Medicines. Love for the religion, Love for their work,
Love for the nation and Cultural Life Style. They aim at establishing colleges
and institutes which are on the lines of Yoga, Ayurveda and Veda and also
encourage distance learning courses.

The University of Patanjali Campus
is situated in Haridwar in Uttarakhand and lies close to Roorkee. It is
situated on the Haridwar-Delhi Highway. The campus has accommodation for

- B.A with Yoga Science
- A three year course to be completed in six semesters
- 50 % marks in 10 +2 (Passed)
- Annual tuition fees - Rs. 15000/- payable 50 % each
semester
- M.A/M.Sc (with Yoga Science)
- A two year course to be completed in four semesters
- Bachelor's Degree (Passed) , minimum 50% from an
acknowledged University
- Rs. 20,000 Annual Tuition fees payable 50 % each
semester
- P.G Diploma in Panchkarma
- One year course to be completed in two semesters
- Bachelor's Degree (Passed) , minimum 50% from an
acknowledged University

- One year course divided into two semesters
