Suresh Gyan Vihar University's founder father is late Shri Suresh Sharma, who along with valuable contributions from its founder chairman Sunil Sharma and Director Dr.Sudhanshu developed the place of higher learning with his vision and passion. It has only been ten years since the university got established; however today it is one of the biggest educational infrastructures of the state.Suresh Gyan Vihar university faculties are one which is top of the line, dedicated in offering the best lessons to the students. The perseverance and hard work of the directors on board and the staff paid soon enough when the Rajasthan State Assembly unanimously passed a bill on 26 March 2008 to approve it as the first Research and development based university of the state. The famous academician and freedom fighter, Achrya Shree Purushottam Uttam laid the foundation stone of Gyanvihar on 19 February 1994. The GSET, Gyanvihar School of Engineering and Technology were flagged off as the first project of Gyanvihar in the field of higher education in 2000. At present it has five branches- Computer, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Information Technology and Electrical Engineering with intake capacity of 60. At present more than 1500 students are gaining educations from GSET. Some students have also found placements in top companies in the sector such as include Infosys, L&T, Ericsson, Mahindra and Mahindra, JCT, JCB, HCL, Punj Loyd, Indian Rayon, SYNTEL and many more.
